There are a lot of reasons why you might wanna breakup with your boyfriend.
The holidays are rolling around…
There’s someone else…
He’s gone too far…
Whatever the case may be, you’re tired of the relationship that you’re in and you want OUT!
But it’s often times not that easy, is it?
I once had a boyfriend in high school. We dated for about 3 years and it was time for me to move on. In my opinion, we had grown apart and were becoming more distant by the minute. There was nothing he did to hurt me, but there was a definite lack of trust because I was getting ready to go away to college. And as his insecurity grew, I became less attracted to him and our relationship.
As easy as it should’ve been, I could not come to terms with breaking up.
I was living in denial. We needed to break up. But I couldn’t accept that my feelings for him were no longer there and weren’t coming back.
I was hopeful that everything would just go back to the way they were before. Nope! Didn’t happen.
So instead of just cutting off the relationship, I dragged it on for months! I would stop returning his calls. Told him that I needed “space”. I would purposely pick fights to see if they would blow out of proportion so that I’d have an instant opportunity to shout “It’s Over!”.
But nothing worked. He was willing to fight for our relationship. I was not.
Breaking up with your boyfriend can be very complicated! Especially if there’s a lot of history involved.
Or even worse, if your guy won’t take “it’s over” for an answer.
So how can you successfully do this so that you’re free to move on?
In this episode, I’ll share with you exactly what you can say and how you can prepare yourself to breakup with your boyfriend!
Terrific post however I was wondering if you could write
a litte more on this subject? I’d be very thankful if you could elaborate
a little bit more. Bless you!
I’m working on some new stuff that will be rolling out in the near future! Stay tuned and thanks for enjoying this piece!
